- Place old eggshells into egg carton- as many as possible, but at least 6. (If not use small plant pot.)
- Make holes in the bottom of the shell by pricking the egg shell with a needle, for drainage, about three in each.
- Get worm castings (or compost) and put it into the eggs.
- Collect the seeds from the season before (or the shops).
- Sprinkle one or two seeds into each egg shell.
- Spray the seeds three or four times until the soil is moist..
- Place cling film over the top
- Place on a warm dry spot on a window sill
- Each day spray the soil with the water spray.
- If you cannot get to the seeds, make sure you spray enough so the soil will not dry out.
- Eventually the a green shoot will grow, when the shoot is 1.5cm move onto the instructions on potting up.
