- Potatoes can take anywhere between 70 to 120 days to grow (find out variety and research how long)
- Wait until the tops of the haulms (potato leaves) have flopped to the floor before you begin harvesting, and before the hard frost.
- You’ll need a garden fork.
- Drive your fork into the soil at the outside edges of the plant.
- Carefully lift the soil and remove the potatoes.
