- Wait until the flower heads begin to brown and become dry.
- Then cut the heads and place them in a small paper bag and leave alone until they have dried out.
- Once the seed heads are thoroughly dry and the seeds have darkened, seal your seeds in a small envelope and label.
- Store your seeds in a cool, dry place.
If are is no seeds available from the rocket and carrot plants do the following:
- Dig the plants out of the ground after.
- Ensure all the soil remains round the roots.
- Place into a pot.
- Pull any weeds and chop the tops off to the stem.
- Place the pot inside until the next year.
- Keep the soil moist by watering it.
